Step 1

Put your instrument to the table

Step 2

Remove the pot cap.

Step 3

Remove the nut
* it is recommended to fix the pot from the other side (in the guitar)

Step 4

Set the height of the shaft (3-4 threads of the collar from the guitar surface, approx. 3mm, this is the approx. height of the Clutch™ Nut ) by put in a shim the other side (in the guitar), you can use the old nut instead of a shim. Install the Clutch™ Nut with the wrench (special wrench included).

If the height of the shaft is not accurate, the operation of Clutch™ won’t be perfect.
* it is recommended to fix the pot from the other side (in the guitar)

Step 5

Install the Clutch™ Knob.
* if the shaft is slant, the operation of Clutch™ won’t be perfect,
it is advised to change it.

Step 6

Push the knob gently to the surface of the guitar, and tighten the grub screw. Grub screw is M3 size, you can use the Allen key M3 size included in the package.
* If you have Split shaft it is very important that the grub screw should go in parallel to the split, so it will go in to the split.
